Maria Sattler founded the Hotel-Pension Sattler in 1946 and devoted the rest of her life to the business, until she passed away early 2000. During this period she not only carried out extensive refurbishing, which resulted into today´s small private Hotel Beethoven. Because of her strong personality and leadership qualities she was the “soul” of the business and a friend to the guests at the same time.

Especially guests attending the international fairs at the exhibition centre appreciated the short walking distance to the trade-fair-premises, and still do.

The property is an old unique villa, located in the Westend in close proximity to the Palmengarten and Goethe University. As well as in easy reach to all the major sights, attractions and restaurants Frankfurt has to offer.

Since 2001 after a period of major renovation Gloria Spengler, the daughter of Maria Sattler and obliged to the tradition of her mother, reopened the hotel with a highly committed team under the new name “Beethoven”.
The result of the extensive reconstruction of the old Hotel Sattler, was an elegant hotel with an individual atmosphere and a 4-star “bed & breakfast” standard according to the slogan “small and beautiful”.

Special facilities like a junior suite with a large roof terrace for sunbathing and a skyline view of Frankfurt, the duplex or vault room, could be a highlight for special occasions. An experienced team is taking care of our guests and will do it`s best to fullfil all requests.
